Annual membership dues are $15. If you join after July 1st, dues are $7.50, after that goes to the regular rate of $15, which are due in February. Membership is limited to immediate family members only.

Benefits include our monthly newsletter, Dulcimer Doin's, purchasing our "members only" song books (songs listed below), a discount on our CD, and an opportunity to play at private functions and play dates. At our monthly meetings we have free classes: a beginners class -which we recommend to get solid and consistent teaching; and a regular group class to learn a song or technique.

Dulcimer stuff to bring to practices, meetings, and gatherings: tuner, extra batteries, music, stand, pencil, eraser, name badge, picks, a friend, and your dulcimer!

Do you play autoharp, fiddle, hammer dulcimer, or guitar or other complimentary instrument? Come out to the park and play with us, too! Don't have any rhythm? Come listen to our open jam, we welcome an audience.

The object and general purpose of the Cincinnati Dulcimer Society is to be a non profit organization to aid in the preservation of the musical instrument called the Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer, to promote the use of the instrument, encourage development of musical abilities of members, and to preserve this cultural heritage.
